Own the drive.
Focus up.

We support new drivers to take the wheel with focus, confidence, and responsibility by using a simple checklist that saves lives.

Distraction isn’t small. It’s everywhere.

Over one-half of serious teen crashes happen when drivers are distracted in the moments before impact. In a detailed study of video-recorded crashes, 58% of moderate-to-severe crashes involving teens included some form of distraction, whether talking with passengers, checking a phone, or reaching inside the car.

Many teens underestimate how often they send texts, adjust music, or look away for just a few seconds, but even that can make a big difference. With the right mindset and tools, teens can take control of their focus, and their future.

A simple checklist. A powerful habit.

Just like in aviation and medicine, high-stakes routines that have significant consequences benefit from clear, repeatable steps. Driving is no different.

The Focus Up Checklist is a small (3.5” x 2.25”) reminder that makes a big impact. It’s a visual cue affixed to the upper left area of windshields that helps new drivers practice safe, focused driving, every single time they start the engine.

Because focus isn’t automatic. It’s a skill and habit you build, one drive at a time

Every checklist counts. Every focused driver makes a difference.

When one person focuses up, everyone on the road benefits: friends, families, pedestrians, cyclists and communities.

Your support helps us reach more young drivers, distribute more checklists, and create safer roads for everyone.
